Sports Creek owners have a license, but it's still unclear whether they race in 2020

The owners of Sports Creek Raceway have a license to reopen in 2020, but it’s still not certain whether they will use it. City Manager Adam Zettel and a spokeswoman for the Michigan Gaming Control Board said they still are waiting for a final decision from AmRace & Sports LLC, the owner of Sports Creek, about the coming horse race season. And the company’s chief executive officer said he’s trying to “make thoroughbred racing possible” this year.
